What are the symptoms of high blood pressure?

Why do so many people with high blood pressure not know they have high blood pressure?

Because many people don’t know the symptoms of high blood pressure, they don’t take the initiative to measure their blood pressure. As a result, they have high blood pressure and don’t know it.

Common symptoms of high blood pressure:

1. Dizziness: persistent dull discomfort in the head, which seriously affects work, study, and thinking, and causes loss of interest in surrounding things.

2. Headache: Mostly it is persistent dull pain or pulsating pain, or even bursting pain or throbbing pain in the temples and back of the head.

3. Irritability, palpitations, insomnia, tinnitus: irritability, sensitivity to things, easily agitated, palpitations, tinnitus, insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, early awakening, unreliable sleep, nightmares, and easy awakening.

4. Inattention and memory loss: Attention is easily distracted, recent memory is reduced, and it is often difficult to remember recent things.

5. Bleeding: Nose bleeding is common, followed by conjunctival hemorrhage, fundus hemorrhage, and even cerebral hemorrhage. According to statistics, about 80% of patients with massive nose bleeding suffer from hypertension.

Therefore, when our body experiences the above five kinds of discomfort, we must measure our blood pressure as soon as possible to see if it is high blood pressure. But this is far from enough, because a large part of high blood pressure will not cause any discomfort or reminder in the early stage. Therefore, we must take the initiative to measure blood pressure and cannot wait until these discomforts have already appeared. It’s too late!

It is best to keep an electronic blood pressure monitor at home to facilitate daily monitoring by family members and protect their health.
